Planygy is providing GIS mapping services for open space planning to a planning consultant to the Township of Old Bridge in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Past projects: Planygy assisted in the preparation of a GIS-based build out analysis for Upper Freehold Township, Monmouth County, New Jersey. Planygy assisted communities in eight New Jersey coastal and riverine counties in developing local multijurisdictional hazard mitigation plans for approval by the state and FEMA. Planygy participated as the Planning Coordinator for the New Jersey Hazard Mitigation Planning Project performed by the Stevens Institute of Technology under contract to the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management. Planygy was also the lead author under this subcontract for New Jersey's FEMA-approved State Hazard Mitigation Plan and for Wayne Township's Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (currently under FEMA review). Planygy programmed a build-out assessment model in Microsoft Access for Sussex County, New Jersey under contract to T&M Associates in 2003. The model used existing GIS land use, zoning, infrastructure and natural constraint data to enable users to simulate impacts of changes in development density on local traffic, water resources, school capacities, and local government revenues and expenses. In December 2002, Planygy prepared a report, "At Play near the Bay: A Preliminary Study of Cumberland County Parks and Recreational Needs at Various Development Stages Towards Full Build-out" for the Partnership for the Delaware Estuary, Inc. |
